By the permission of the Governor of MBK, the Principal of Kyleigh School, Mrs. Heidi and Mr. Gary and other guest with us today.

My name is Azarat Gul Nazari, I am studying in the 8th class in Kyleigh School. I would like to say hello to all of you and to say that we are very pleased to have you visiting us today.

We remember the time before this school was built. We studied under the trees in the open air. We did not have even a tent we could study under. We sat on the ground and studied until Roots of Peace, in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, built this school in 2005.

Our school was funded through the efforts of dear Mrs. Heidi, the Founder of Roots of Peace.

On behalf of all of the Kyleigh School students, I want to thank Mrs. Heidi and her daughter, Kyleigh and the children of America for their great help to us in building this school. We appreciate your assistance also for building the library and computer room.

We are hopeful you will continue to support other children in Afghanistan on the education field. We need your help . With your help we can continue with our lessons. You have paved the ground for our education.
