January 6, 2012The Epiphany–There are 1.5 Million Landmines in The Holy Lands! The Palestinian and Israeli Authorities are celebrating the beginning of their partnership with Roots of Peace to remove deadly landmines in The Holy Lands on The Epiphany when the three wise men were guided by the star of light without the fear of landmines beneath their footsteps. The ghosts of landmines now riddle these same Abrahmic lands where shepherds once guarded their sheep and ‘a child was born’ who was cradled in the arms of parents who never imagined the perils of mines.
