Designed to substantially increase incomes for the needy communities still feeling the effects of war that this country has experienced, the program will focus on both removing landmines and developing sustainable livelihoods for the impoverished people victimized by it. The program will be started with the Sustainable Horticulture and Agriculture Development Pilot (SHADE) Project that will focus on working with over 1,100 farmers in the cacao, coffee, bamboo, pepper and eel value chains in Binh Phuoc and Quang Tri Provinces. This work will eventually be expanded throughout the country. Watch our SHADE Project Training Videos |
